  • Alita Moses is a Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter known for her soulful voice and remarkable versatility. Her musical roots run deep; she started performing by age eight, touring by the age of sixteen, and she earned a degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She then won the Shure Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in 2014, sparking international recognition and bringing her talents all over the world as a band leader, educator, and featured artist.

She has graced the stage with jazz titans such as Al Jarreau and Chris Botti, world class orchestras like the National Symphony Orchestra and the Philly POPS Orchestra, and crossover/pop luminaries such as Shawn Mendes, Cynthia Erivo, Bilal, Corinne-Bailey Rae, and Jacob Collier. As a frequent collaborator, Alita has been the lead singer of multiple genre-bending bands in NYC for the past decade and her voice can be heard on many of her contemporaries’ records but her latest feat is her own self-titled project. She has been described as “sweet and seductive” by the Palm Beach Daily News and a “star” by the Harvard Crimson.

Drawing inspiration from long-time influences like Chaka Khan, Paramore, and Esperanza Spalding, Alita’s music is an inspired swirl of pop, jazz, R&B and a hint of rock, all welded together with her own graceful, passionate flair. No matter the stage, Alita invites her audiences into her musical world with open arms and an open heart. Her first single, “Still” can be found on all streaming platforms.
